I’m Ailsa, the owner and baker at Nomlicious Bakes!
I’ve been a baker since my teens, following on from my Grandma’s profession and my mum’s home baking. During lockdown in 2020 my grandma gave me her recipe for royal icing for me to try out, and I had so much fun experimenting and creating!
I registered my business early 2021 and quickly received my 5 star food hygiene rating from Thanet council!
My orders from social media were gaining momentum but I wanted to reach out and say hello to my local community too, so I contacted June and started attending Cliftonville farmers market in May 2021. Although I cannot guarantee I’ll be there every month due to childcare, I’m always reachable online and will endeavour to be at as many as I can, and will keep you updated on my whereabouts on my social media pages!
The market is a lovely place to trade wirh so many different stallholders.
Everybody is so friendly and June & her team work so hard for us all.
